Sandra Lee Chandler is a passionate textile artist, educator, and social media storyteller with over 38 years of experience in quilting and fiber arts[5]. Born in Los Angeles and raised in Orange County, California, she recently relocated to Nashville, TN in 2023, embracing a new chapter in her personal and artistic journey.
Sandra holds a B.S. in Clothing, Textiles, and Design from Arizona State University and has been teaching for 38 years. Her expertise spans various aspects of textile arts, including repurposed denim quilts, wearable quilted garments, and innovative techniques that blend sustainability with contemporary design.
Sandra's love for teaching is evident in her weekly virtual quilting class through Saddleback Community College, where she connects with a global community of learners. She has presented and taught at numerous prestigious events, including:
