Who says cleaning up isn’t fun?
Okay, maybe not everybody’s idea of fun. But it’s exciting to gather all the little things you use for sewing (toys!) and have them where you can find them when you need them.
I’m doing my entire studio, and as you can see it is quite a process.
Tip#1 Hang a shoe organizer on the back of your sewing room door. The clear pockets let you see what you’ve got without having to dig.
Tip#2 Those old CD shelves are perfect for fat quarters or folded remnants! You can always find them second-hand for next to nothing. Recycle and repurpose!
Tip#3 Use baskets and bins to sort sewing patterns and notions.
I think it’s really coming together!
